  1. Eric Schwartz Animation List as of November, 1992

  3. Note: My animations are created with a huge variety of software, from
  4. DeluxePaint 4 to DigiView to Disney Animation Studio. For the sake of 
  5. brevity, I only name the program used to compile all graphics and sound
  6. into a final presentation.

  8. Note2: All my animations have been tested for compatibility with
  9. Kickstart/Workbench 2.04 and all work fine. The only exceptions might be
  10. under the ANIMS category, where the particular animplayer program supplied
  11. with the anim may not work under 2.0 . If this is the case, simply find an
  12. animplayer that will work and use that. Another problem for 2.04 users is
  13. that the operating system takes up a chunk more memory than 1.3, and some
  14. animations may need a little more memory than the stated amount. This also
  15. applies to an extent with Amigas with hard drives.

  17. Note3: I have tested a few Moviesetter anims with the A4000 and the AA/AGA
  18. chipset, and they usually work. Sometimes the player will fail, giving a
  19. "not enough memory" type of error, even when plenty is available. If you
  20. have an AGA chipset machine and this happens, try shutting down some
  21. programs and/or changing the Workbench screen to a lower resolution with
  22. fewer colors. that usually does the trick, though I warn you that between
  23. the faster processors and the faster graphics chips some animation will
  24. run sickeningly quick. I have not tested the Dpaint/Anim-5 type animations 
  25. yet, but I figure if you have a suitable Animplayer that works on an AGA 
  26. machine, It will happily play the older Anims.

  28. Note4: Animations marked with an ' * ' can be considered shareware, the
  29. fee is five bucks or whatever you feel it's worth. I do not request any
  30. payment for any others.

  96. are NOT, NOT! to be considered Public Domain. All animations are
  97. copyrighted but freely distributable, with a few categorized as Shareware.
  98. The animations should not be sold for much more than the price of the
  99. disks and the time and energy required to copy. I also request that my
  100. permission be obtained before the animation is transferred to any other
  101. medium such as videotape or print.
  102.      Characters that I have created, such as Amy the Squirrel, Clarisse
  103. Cat, and Flip the Frog are Copyright © 1992 Eric W. Schwartz as well. Do
  104. not use these characters in your own works unless you are willing to
  105. accept the consequences. I might not sue you for creating a work using my
  106. characters, but then again I might, especially if I consider the work
  107. particularly vulgar (Back from the Beach) or insulting to myself or my
  108. characters. At the very least, if your mind is made up to use my
  109. characters despite my pleas, for GOD'S SAKE TRY DRAWING THEM YOURSELF!
  110. I'm more impressed by people that show skill rather than cut-and-paste
  111. abilities.

  114.      These anims are available all over but there are only four officially 
  115. ordained distributors.(ones I fully approve of)  Any distributor on this
  116. list, or one who receives my anims from one of these sources is O.K. in my
  117. book, otherwise I cannot confirm quailty or SAFETY (I do my best to stay
  118. virus-free) of the animations. I do not mind free distribution of my anims
  119. as long as no one makes their own claim to my work.
